Hotel J is a perfect place to stay near Stockholm and to visit the archipelago. You can go by ferry to the city center, is very well connected with nearby highway and entrance to Värmdö the central island. surroundings of the hotel, beautiful. facilities are very functional as well as beautiful and quality. sauna is a pleasure, right next to the pier, so you can swim in the sea after the sauna! Nordic. breakfast, fabulous. room, ideal, with a perfect view and a very comfortable bed. staff, efficient, flexible and very friendly.
There's no need to put a damper on this hotel. Just a few details to keep improving and bring it to perfection:. - The bathtub has charm but it is not comfortable to shower, especially if you are tall. - Dinner: some dishes are of low gastronomic quality; for how good breakfast is, dinner is not so good. - The glass of wine is very expensive in the hotel, but this is more of the country than the establishment. - A busy breakfast can be overwhelming, so you should separate the tables from the food and drink area.

By Stockholm standards, all other decent hotels are much more expensive... Ferries and liners sail right by the window (if you take a direct view of the sea).... It was cold in the room (beginning of May), they gave an efficient heater, saved them. Thanks to Margarita, who was always ready to help with any questions, there are no claims to the staff. At the exit of the hotel there are umbrellas. relevant - we used almost every day :-), There is a parking lot in our underground garage (12 euro/day) - very convenient to go down to the parking lot right by the elevator. But. in a walking distance there are parking lots 2 times cheaper, It is very convenient to get to the city by boat. stop near the hotel. is the best option, even if you're in a car. because there are problems with parking on weekdays in Stockholm (very expensive, should be put in the pickles at the subway stations), Breakfasts are good, not wah. It is strange that there was no herring at all, this is a "landmark" of Sweden in general. coffee's disgusting, rooms are quiet. soundproofed. Rooms are quiet, not heard the upper neighbors,
The room's tight for three, not so critical for two, but it's also tight. The air conditioner outlet opening in the wall is constantly muzzled with cold air (probably centralized ventilation). It was compensated, as I wrote in pluses, by the heater, it is good that the muzzle is not on the bed. There was a control panel of the temperature of the mentioned conditioner, but it didn't influence the temperature of the blown air in any way.

hotel itself is incredibly comfortable and pleasant! Breakfast in the castle is excellent, there is a bar with snacks in the evening, bed chic, internet strong. Staff is friendly. Swans and ducks, park, waterfront, restaurant with oysters, etc.. But!
Sweden is a very expensive country and hotel is located far from the centre. By taxi to the centre - minimum 25 euros (if Uber) and up to 90!!! If ferry - you need to buy a ticket in advance or charge your card. NO TICKETS ARE SOLD ON THE FERRY!!! On the last day only two disposable tickets were sold to us at the reception, saying they were the last. At the weekend, last ferry out of the center leaves at 6:15 p. m.!! Would you tell me why? We got to the marina on time, ticket stalls were already closed and ran to 7eleven to buy a ticket before we could. New 30 euros for going back. That's sad. Keep it all in mind.

The Internet is constantly falling off, I had to work, and I did not notice how I went into a serious disadvantage with the Moscow symphony. If you put in an assistant router, it'll be really cool.

The private parking is convenient and the service is good. The room is tidy and quiet, with a lovely bathroom, a mini-bar, an adjoining terrace, and blackout curtains. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of options like eggs and cheese.

The view of the water and passing ships and yachts is magnificent! At breakfast, if you sit on the terrace, you can admire the water infinitely long. Breakfasts are tasty and nourishing: there are simple hot dishes (porridge, omelette, eggs, bacon, pancakes), cold snacks, pastries, vegetables, fruits. It is conveniently made that you can take coffee and tea with you in paper cups. Rooms overlook either the water or the forest. Very quiet, fresh air. In the evenings, beautiful sunsets and walks along the promenade...
It's far enough away from the center. It takes 30 minutes by boat to the old town or 20 minutes to the island with museums. Boat schedules (it's public transport in Sweden, costs 44 kroons one way) are also available on the website and at stops. You can see in advance so you don't have to wait long for the boat to dock. It is better to buy tickets in advance through the SL application. Ask the Swedes, they will give you a hint.

The whole place was clean with breathtaking views. The stunning and amazing location near a forest-park was fantastic. The decor was contemporary and the bed was really nice. The hotel was near to the center and lake, with lots of restaurants to eat within walking distance, like Fazer which is only 5 minutes away.

Everything! Food, staff, clean, modern!
Boats are by fair the handiest way to get into Stockholm centre but they stop at 6pm so getting to and from the hotel after this can be more difficult by bus/ expensive by taxi.
